Description

This session, from TEI’s 2024 Federal Tax Course – Level 1, provides a foundation for the taxation of financial instruments, including derivatives, forwards, futures, options, notional principal contracts, and debt. The session also will cover the straddle rules, the basics of hedging transactions, and special rules for broker/dealers.
